ABOUT ME
If reading my entire about me page is too time consuming, I can basically be summed up by the following three images...
A recent birthday cake of mine and favourite of all time
My spirit animal Monty Python character
My most prized fridge magnet with the greatest advice known to humankind
Born in the North East of England, I'm a stay at home digital illustrator who uses the word 'wee' a lot due to having Scottish parents.

I married my long-term chap in 2023, and together we're raising a diabetic housecat and trying not to kill off too many pot plants.

My cat
- Maker of furballs
- Demander of belly rubs
- Owner of 382 cat toys
- Plays with jars
Like most people, I fell in love with art & design at a very young age.

I'm officially not a very young age anymore and I'm still just as besotted with them.
NERDY FOR NATURE
I've always been easily distracted by nature, but along with many others, its importance in terms of my general wellbeing grew rapidly as my lifestyle grew slower - in my case due to rubbish health. Long story short, my main hobby is collecting autoimmune conditions.
During my time as a volunteer with the River Tees Parks & Countryside Rangers - when I excelled at getting very muddy every Friday morning.
Nowadays I like nothing better than a wild night out rehoming rescued hedgehogs at the bottom of our garden.
As well as helping me to live alongside my grotty health gremlins I also have first-hand experience of just how comforting and restorative nature can be when experiencing unexpected limitations after a serious illness.
Please consider visiting SEPSISTRUST.ORG to become better aware of this common yet all-too-often overlooked condition.
A much appreciated pastime, my websites and artworks will always be passion projects rather than business ventures - hence why I won't commit to any targets or deadlines, why I don't accept offers of payment for design jobs that benefit nature, and why my social media posts are so irregular - although with regards to that last one it also doesn't help that I'm about as internet savvy as a chip butty.
A NOTE TO FELLOW SPOONIES
Hello, hope you're having a not awful day.

I live by these words, so with them in mind, I came up with some invisible illness artworks. Please feel free to share them online with anyone you think is in need of seeing them.

...and yes, after being called a medical mystery for the umpteenth time by several doctors, the first design below was the first to be created in the collection. (Also available as postcards).
